About the Doctor

After completing the mandatory rural service as a trainee doctor in the prefecture of Fthiotida, she specialized in Internal medicine in the General Prefectural Hospital of Zakynthos and in Prince Charles Hospital in Whales. Subsequently, she specialized in Dermatology at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and she also completed her specialization abroad, in particular at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin, where she worked for 1 year.

She then wrote her doctoral thesis on the subject of dermographism (Factitious urticaria) and she was sworn as a PhD doctor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Athens in January 2011, obtaining her degree with “Excellent” marks.

Her particular field of interest and scientific pursuit is Aesthetic - Interventional Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. She was a permanent collaborator of the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital and is from 2021 the scientific head of Bio-derma of the Vioiatriki Group. Meanwhile in her private clinic, she deals with the full range of Aesthetic and Interventional Dermatology.

She has been a scientific associate of the A. Syggros Hospital and she is a consultant for the L’Oreal Company in Dermatology issues. She collaborates at research level with the Stonybrook University Hospital in New York, USA. She has an active and continuous participation in the presentation of scientific projects and the delivery of speeches in conferences in Greece and abroad. In addition, her articles have been published in Greek and international scientific publications while she collaborates online with medical websites of high authority.

She is an active member of the Hellenic Dermatology Society, the Professional Association of Greek Dermatologists and the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV).

Since June 2014, Dr. Vasiliki Mousatou has been an instructor for other doctors for the placing of MLT threads for Greece.
